L/O: To identify and use genre codes and conventions
masthead: the title to drag in the reader.
dateline: the date when the magazine was released.
main image: an image to also drag in the reader.
cover lines: all the text round the cover to show you whats in the magazine.
main cover line: the main cover line normally links to the main image.
barcode/price: the price of the magazine.
tagline: its used to sow the reader to show a little bit of whats inside.
quote preview: a quote about the magazine.
- They al have their titles on the top of the page
- The use red, yellow and black a lot
- The pictures are all full body shots
- They all have the riders doing tricks
- They are all men (no sexism intended)
- the are all well known bmxers
- there is a bike in every photo
- there is a person in every photo
